Why Hot Yoga Works:
When we decided to put a hot yoga studio in Houston in the middle of summer we had the purest of intentions.
Every decision has it's consequences, positive or negative. Our original construction crew promised us an opening date which was constantly delayed. We have, since June hired a new crew who is doing a great job to get us opened and you on the mat as soon as possible. Our new opening date is July 14th. We sincerely apologize for the delay.
Now back to why Hot Yoga Works

Why Hot Yoga is Cool:
It allows the body to stretch, detoxify, relieve stress, tone, and help to relieve pain such as joint aches, knee injuries, back problems,... just to name a few.
Know how to handle the HEAT. If you feel dizzy, sit down and focus on your breath. You can recover by breathing in through your nose and out of your mouth.
Water is best before class. Aim for 8 to 9 glasses a day. Especially in Houston where we are in a humid climate, hydration is key to a great class. Hydrate before class. NO one likes a sloshy stomach in a yoga class.
Sweat is Good! Wear breathable clothing. The only time sports bras are permitted as outer clothing in the studio (See Dress Code). Do not be afraid to show some skin and allow your skin and lungs to breathe.

Tips:
Take more than one Hot Yoga class before you ride it off. Keep an open mind. Do NOT wipe sweat off with a towel, that how the body cools properly and naturally.
